I thought some explanation might be necessary. Originally, I intended this snippet as a character study for the Martys in "Will The Real Marty McFly Please Stand Up?" Yes, I referred to both of them as I want to portray how the two Martys are, in fact, very similar. This sketch could apply to both of them equally.
However, I soon realized that this was fleshing out to be more of a story than a study. After much hemming and hawing on my part, I have decided to post what I have for commentary. I really don't whether to call this a study or a story which is why I have filed it under "Miscellaneous".
This is by no means polished. I left it this way on purpose as I really want to use this as a section for "WTRMMPSU?". I think it would suit my needs perfectly.
I realize that there are some major similarities between Marty's thoughts here and Marty's thoughts in Kristen Sheley's "Hill Valley Chronicles #3: The Newlyweds". This was a scary accident, I actually wrote this study two weeks before Kristen finished posting her story. If you think the parallels are scary just imagine how I felt when I picked up on them. Yep, there I go channeling other writers again! LOL!
Anyway, be prepared for some angst. I think I was also channeling my younger self when I wrote this. Now, THAT is a scary thought!
